For families paying trip balances by card, our cost is typically lower than common school payment portals such as MySchoolBucks.

Card processing
2.9% + $0.30
per successful card charge (Stripe standard rate).
Example: Say the underlying trip payment is $1,000. The 1% platform fee is $10. Card processing applies to that full charge: 2.9% of $1,010 is $29.29, plus the per-charge $0.30, which is $29.59 to Stripe. Users will see a total charge of $1,039.59.
Anyone paying with ACH (bank debit) through Stripe may incur a lower processing fee than a card payment. Stripe publishes separate ACH pricing, caps, and rules.
